ST. LOUIS (KTVI)-Police arrives on the scene of a south St. Louis car crash Tuesday morning and find the driver shot to death. Homicide detectives are hoping to get answers soon to the shooting that happened in the 4400 block of Minnesota in south St. Louis.

Around 7:20am, police found a woman, identified as Jennifer Keith, 28, of south St. Louis, dead in the driver's seat of a Pontiac Grand Prix. Witnesses say they saw a man standing near the car and police believe he was shooting at Keith as she was driving. After she was shot her, she lost control near Minnesota and Dakota and rolled up on a sidewalk damaging the steps of the front porch of a house under rehab.

Some residents heard the gunshots this morning.

Neighbors say they overheard relatives of the victim telling police that she had enemies. Police say they are still looking for a suspect and they are asking anyone with information about the crime to call the St. Louis police or  Crimestoppers (866-371-TIPS).

The investigation is ongoing.
