Man found murdered in vehicle identified

ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – A 27-year-old man was found shot to death in a parked car in a north St. Louis neighborhood last weekend.

According to a spokesperson for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the shooting took place Saturday, April 11 around 8:45 p.m. in the 5500 block of Cote Brilliante Avenue in the Wells-Goodfellow neighborhood.

Police found the victim, identified as Steffon Moore, in the front passenger seat of a silver 2013 Nissan Altima. The vehicle was still running when police arrived.

Moore had been shot in the head, shoulder, and torso. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. A handgun was found on the floor where the victim was seated.

No motive or suspects have been disclosed.
