Police identify woman found dead near train tracks

BrownBROOKLYN, IL (KTVI) - The Illinois State Police have identified a woman whose naked body was found in a field near a set of train tracks in Brooklyn, Illinois earlier this week.

According to state police, a railroad worker happened upon the woman’s body on Monday, March 30 just before 5:30 p.m., in the 200 block of S. Second Street.

She’s been identified as 44-year-old Natasha Brown of St. Louis. Brown was last seen on Wednesday, March 25.  The mother of nine is from St. Louis.
