Police looking for car connected to alleged shooting, kidnapping of woman in south St. Louis

ST. LOUIS – Police are searching for a vehicle that may be connected to shooting and kidnapping.

The incident happened around 4:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon in the 3400 block Chippewa in the Dutchtown neighborhood.

A man in a blue Subaru BRZ shot at a woman’s feet and then forced her into the car at gunpoint, police say.

The car has Illinois plate reading “AS 57200″ and was reported stolen out of St. Louis County.

If anyone has information on the vehicle you are asked to call 911.
