Police looking for car involved in Monday’s double homicide

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – St. Louis police are searching for a vehicle they believe was involved in a double homicide that happened on Monday.

The car was caught by surveillance cameras.  It’s a red, 4-door. Oldsmobile Alero.  Police say the car is missing it’s front license plate and the rear plate area was covered with a tinted plate cover.

There were five men in the car when the shooting happened.  Police the person who fired the shots was sitting in the back passenger seat.

On Monday, witnesses heard approximately five gunshots near the intersection of 4th and Market Streets Monday afternoon.  Two men inside a Dodge Caliber were shot and killed.  One was wounded in the ankle, and two others ran away.
