COLLINSVILLE, IL (KTVI)- Police are looking for a man who has been charged with stabbing another man in Collinsville. On Wednesday, police responded to the 100 block of Idlerun Drive where a 22-year old had been stabbed by a man who had attempted to rob him. The victim, who knew the suspect, was treated at a hospital.

The suspect, identifed as Tre Laron Branscomb, 21, of the 800 block of South Morrison Avenue in Collinsville, was charged Thursday with home invasion, attempted armed robbery and aggravated battery in connecting with the stabbing. His bond is set at $250,000.

Branscomb is currently not in custody and is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Branscomb should call 618-344-2131, ext. 5139.
