Police looking for man who snatched elderly woman’s purse

ST.LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- St. Louis police are looking for the man they say snatched a 70-year-old woman’s purse last month.

It happened on August 18 in the 5300 block of Itaska.  The woman was getting out of her when the suspect approached and snatched her purse.

The suspect then ran from the scene and got into a maroon colored, four-door sedan with another man.   The two later tried to use the victim’s credit card.

He is described as a black male, 5’7″ to 5’10” inches tall and weighing about 150 pounds.   He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with black jeans.   The suspect also had a dark complexion and a mustache and goatee.

The man was wearing a white tank top.
