Police Looking For Man Who Stole $2,000 Diamond Ring

ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR) – The St. Louis Police Department is looking for a man who stole a diamond ring worth $2,000. They say he went into a business at the 4100 block of Martin Luther King drive and picked out a ring. He told a store employee that he needed to go to his car to get his credit card. He went back in the business to try on the ring. With the ring on his finger he took a few steps back and ran to his car.

Police describe the black male as weighing between 185-200lbs, 5’9″ to 5’10″ tall and wearing his hair short. He was wearing black frame glasses with no lenses, a gray sweatshirt over a white t-shirt and black shorts over gray sweatpants. He has two tear drop tattoos under his right eye and and tattoos on his neck.
