ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – A south city man’s cold-blooded decision could mean a long time in prison out after he pulled out a gun and started shooting after somebody took the parking space he’d previously shoveled out, sources tell Fox 2 News.
Mix one felon with two guns and a lot of alcohol, plus intense anger about a parking spot, and bad things can happen.
Sources said Terry Moore shoveled a place to park his car Wednesday night in the 4100 block of Botanical in the Shaw neighborhood, but he was overcome with anger and alcohol when somebody took the spot. Moore fired a shotgun to scare people.
And that’s not all, according to authorities. Moore is a convicted felon, meaning he isn’t allowed to be in possession of a firearm. Police also found a pistol in his residence.
Neighbors worry about what could have happened.
Fortunately, no one was hurt.
Moore is being held on a $30,000 cash-only bond. If convicted on all charges, he faces up to 11 years in prison. All over a shoveled parking spot.
