(KTVI) – St. Louis police arrested a man late Saturday night after he allegedly threw a woman out of a moving car on the highway.
According to police, David Sheridan, 46, was traveling eastbound on Interstate 64/40 when he pushed a 34-year-old woman from the vehicle while it was moving.
Sheridan returned to the scene on foot before police arrived. When they tried to approach him, he became belligerent and would not listen to officers.
Sheridan was arrested and charged with Domestic Assault, Resisting Arrest, and Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer.
He is being held on a $30,000 cash-only bond. The woman was taken to the hospital were she was listed in serious but stable condition.
