MASCOUTAH, IL (KTVI) – A Mascoutah man is behind bars accused of making child pornography.  Nathaniel J. Winn, 28, is charged with 25 counts related to videotaping and possessing various images of child porn.

Authorities say the case broke after someone reported that Winn was acting inappropriately at the Mascoutah swimming pool on June 20th.  Several people reported that Winn was taking videos and pictures of young girls with his cell phone without the girls knowing.

He was asked to leave the area.  When police were called to investigate, they found  numerous pictures and videos of young females and children involved in sex acts on Winn’s phone.   While police do not believe Winn created those particular pictures and videos, they are asking anyone who allowed a young female to be with Winn unattended to check with the child and contact the Mascoutah Police Department at 618-566-2976 Ex. 111.

Winn is being held in the St. Clair County Jail on $250,000 bond.
