Gov. Parson to make Supreme Court of Missouri appointment today

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Governor Mike Parson will announce who will fill the vacant chair on the Supreme Court of Missouri at 4:30 p.m. Monday.

Justice Laura Denvir Stith is retiring after serving on the court for 20 years. She is only the second woman to serve on the state’s highest court.

The Appellate Judicial Commission submitted a panel of candidates to take her seat.
