ARNOLD, MO (KTVI) - Sandbags could not stop water from reaching some homes. For the people living in the area adjacent to Arnold Park there was no electricity, per order of the emergency management team.

Record flooding caused major issues for people along the Meramec River in Arnold. But people living near Starling Airport Drive felt helpless when power was shut off and a sewer pumping station flooded. Sump pumps wouldn’t work and those residents ended up with sewage back-up in the basement.
