MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO (KTVI)- Although the most popular hashtag on social media during Tuesday night’s State of the Union address was #SOTU, the next one was completely unexpected.

The second most popular hashtag was created after President Obama said “I have no more campaigns left to run.”

The statement prompted an applause from some members of the audience.

The president paused and continued, “I know because I won both of them.”  Social media responded via Twitter with the hashtag, #IWonBothOfThem.

Within seconds, memes, Vine videos and YouTube clips began to appear.

The president continued, “My only agenda for the next two years is the same as the one I’ve had since the day I swore an oath on the steps of this Capitol: to do what I believe is best for America. If you share the broad vision I outlined tonight, join me in the work at hand.”
