ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – A vigil is planned on the first anniversary of the death of Kajieme Powell.
Police say Powell was waving a knife at officers when they shot and killed him near a north St. Louis market. This was just ten days after the Michael Brown shooting last year.
Family members filed a wrongful death lawsuit in the case. Relatives and community leaders gathered for the vigil just after eleven this morning in Kiener Plaza.
