ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – A handful of protesters staged a mock lynching across the street from the Old Courthouse in downtown St. Louis.

They were protesting the killings of Michael Brown and Vonderrit Myers Jr. at the hands of police officers. They chose the Old Courthouse because that’s where Dredd Scott sued for his freedom in 1847.
