ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – At the Rams game, football fans got in on the downtown fun Monday night by supporting both teams.

Most Rams fans dressed in blue put on a little red to cheer on the Cardinals. They all seemed to have one thing in common, though: this was a football game they weren’t going to miss.

Jim Wright and his friends bring this blue and gold RV to every Rams game. It’s the Rams first Monday Night Football game at the Dome since 2006. He feels it’s a little unfortunate that it happens to coincide with the World Series.

Still, this Monday Night Football game is an occasion he and thousands of other Rams fans wanted to experience firsthand.

Plus, there are other perks: cheaper tickets for one. Some were selling for less than $10. The Jumbotron periodically showed the Cardinals game for fans wanting to keep track.

Fans are also adapting their traditions for Monday night’s game. One group who always grill out and watch the game on TV outside the stadium had two TV: one for the Cards and one for the Rams.
