ST. LOUIS, MO. (KTVI) – The Rams reveled the NFL’s new bag rules, set in place for this upcoming NFL season.  Fans will have to comply with the new rules at this Saturday’s pre-season game at the Edward Jones Dome.

The new security measures will only allow clear bags or small clutches.  Fans will only be allowed to carry a clear plastic or vinyl bag that isn't bigger than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches.

You can also use a one gallon clear plastic freezer bag.

Small clutches, that are about the size of a hand will be allowed, but will need to be checked.

The new measures were being discussed before the Boston Marathon bombings, but that tragedy expedited the plan.

The NFL wants to have some of the most secure venues in the sporting community.
