Random Acts of Kindness inspired by Red Bud fatal crash

RED BUD ILLINOIS ( KTVI)- Random acts of kindness are taking place all across the nation helping the small town of Red Bud, Illinois, grieve after two sisters who were killed in a car accident.  A woman who survived the crash, says it was a night that changed her life forever.

The fatal crash happened last month in Red Bud Illinois on January  when a driver crossed a center line of Illinois 159 near Hecker. Life long best friends and Red Bud high school  graduates Abby Liefer and Hannah Porter were killed in the crash that night. " When I got in the emergency room at SLU  I told them I was here for Abby Liefer. I  said  I need to see here right now and they pointed me to the quite room were they give you the bad news , said sot  Brandy Muertz, Abby's sister.

21 -year-old Grace Richardson was in the same car that claimed the life of her two best friends and survived. " I would never had imagine that this would have happen to me and my friends, " said Richardson

A few days after the fatal crash Grace and the victims families set up a Facebook page to honor their love ones. The victim's  family  started asking strangers around the world to perform random acts of kindness on February 10th.  That day  will mark the one month anniversary of their death. People all over the world have responded.

So far they have over 7, 000 people who have signed up around the world to do some type of random act of kindness . They never thought one Facebook post would touch so many people and so many lives .
