MANSFIELD, ME (CNN) – We’ve told you about the rare blue lobsters, but here’s something even more scarce, orange ones!  A store chain in Massachusetts has six of them.  TJ Del Santo shows us this one in 10 million find.

These carrot-colored crustaceans are a very rare find.  They’re known as orange lobsters.  They look like they’ve already been cooked.
“They’re alive and doing well!”

Bill Sarro of Ocean Fresh Seafood and Restaurant in Mansfield said he’s never seen one in 30 years.   One of his retail managers found them while unpacking a crate.
“And he pulled out a bunch of lobsters he thought were already cooked and thought someone was playing a joke on us and put them in a crate.  And he picked them up and they started moving and crawling up his arm. He thought it was the best thing ever.”
There were 5 of these found in Mansfield and another found in the Fresh Catch North Attleboro location for a total of 6.
“We’ve seen blue lobsters, but we’ve never carrot-colored lobsters came through the doors.”
They are this orangey color due to a genetic mutation.   They were all found off the Magdalen Islands in Maine.   They won’t be returning to the wild, and they won’t be showing up on a dinner plate.
“No, we’re not selling them; we’re a small family business. Keep everything together.”
He wants to put one of them on display in each of his 5 fresh catch locations.

“People can come in and enjoy this one in a 10 million chance to see a lobster like this.”
According to the University of Maine’s Lobster Institute, there are some colors that are even rarer.
The chances of catching a yellow lobster are one in 30 million.  And you’re really lucky to grab an albino one.
That has a one in 100 million chance.

President Harry Truman said: “It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.” That spirit is alive and well at Fox 2. Our teamwork is on display each and every day.

Our news slogan is: “Coverage You Can Count On.” We quite frankly are too busy to worry about who gets the credit. Our main concern is serving the viewer.

We go where the stories take us. Whether it be Washington, D.C when a Belleville man opened fire during a congressional baseball game practice or to Puerto Rico where local Ameren crews restored power after more than 5 months in the dark.

Coverage You Can Count On means “Waking up your Day” with our top-rated morning show. From 4:00 am-10:00 am we are leading the way with breaking news. But our early morning crew also knows how to have some fun! Our strong commitment to the communities we serve is highlighted with our Friday neighborhood shows.

Our investigative unit consists of three reporters. Elliott Davis focuses on government waste, Chris Hayes is our investigative reporter, and Mike Colombo is our consumer reporter. They work in unison with the news department by sharing resources and ideas.

We continue to cover breaking news aggressively and relied on our seasoned journalists to make a difference with the stories we covered. The shooting of Arnold Police Officer Ryan O’Connor is just one example of that. Jasmine Huda was the only reporter who had exclusive access to the O’Connor family during his amazing rehabilitation in Colorado.

Last, but certainly not least, FOX 2 and KPLR 11 are committed to covering local politics. We host debates among candidates and have the most extensive presidential election coverage. Our commitment to politics isn’t just during an election year. We produce two political shows that air every weekend.
