ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - The good news is that because of how and where the heavy rain fell (very complicated to explain) the Meramec River basin numbers have all come down substantially Monday and all flood warnings have been cancelled.

The exception is the Big River where moderate flooding is expected in Byrnesville at 5.8' above flood stage. Also, the Kaskaskia River forecast has dropped somewhat with only minor flooding now forecast in Vandalia.
