JEFFERSON COUNTY, MO (KTVI) – A cell phone tower leaning too close to a Jefferson County elementary school has been repaired.

Tomahawk Drive and Gary Road in Arnold are now open. They were closed Wednesday as a precaution, along with nearby Lone Dell Elementary School.

Students still had class at an auditorium in Arnold.

There’s no class Friday because it’s a professional learning day.

The tower is owned by US Cellular.
