OLIVETTE, MO (KTVI) – On September 12th, an argument on a first student school bus between students got physical and left a 16-year-old girl with a black eye.  According to Logos high school student Ashley Bennish and her mother Betty,  the teen and others were heading home from school when Ashley says a teenage boy she dated in the past got angry because she was talking to another boy on the bus. That’s when she claims he punched her while another boy recorded it on his cell phone.  Betty says the driver and monitor did nothing to stop her daughter from being punched in the face and ear.

FOX 2 contacted first student who released the following statement:

The safety and security of the students we transport is our top priority at first student. After close review of the incident with the school district we were able to determine that this is a matter of student conduct. Our driver and monitor responded in accordance with the policies set forth by first student and the school district.

Betty Bennish also says the two boys involved in the incident have been disciplined and removed from the bus.
