Severe Storms Roll Through SE Missouri

Ste. Genevieve, MO. (KTVI) – Storms rolled through southeastern Missouri Thursday evening causing damage in Cape Girardeau, Chaffee and Scott County.  Businesses, uprooted trees and power lines have been downed by high winds, clocked at 53 mph.

Heavy rain was reported in Wayne and Stoddard counties, with some large hail.

Southeast Missouri is under a severe thunderstorm watch till 9:00 pm.
