Thousands without power after severe storm

ST. LOUIS— Severe thunderstorms moved through the region Saturday evening, bringing damaging wind and hail. As of 10 p.m., there were about 30,000 people without power.

Once the storms move out of the area temperatures drop into the upper 70s overnight.

Sunday, without morning storms around there will be fewer clouds. That means at hotter day on Sunday with highs in the mid to upper 90s. However, the storm threat returns ahead of a cold front Sunday evening and continues overnight into Monday morning.
