ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- Shakespeare Festival St. Louis announced Sunday that its 2017 main stage production will be The Winter’s Tale. The free, outdoor productions bring thousands to Shakespeare Glen in Forest Park each Summer.
Written in approximately 1610, the play is considered to be a Shakespeare comedy, but with tragic undertones.

The production is scheduled June 2-25, 2017, with preview nights are set for May 31 and June 1. Shakespeare Glen is located near the Saint Louis Art Museum.
