ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Gunmen are targeting a North St. Louis family.  On Tuesday around 6:30 p.m., bullets came flying into the home of a family who lost their 9-year-old son earlier this month in a shooting.

The boy was Tyrese Short.  Police say Tyrese was sitting in the family SUV on Goodfellow, when someone shot into the vehicle, hitting him in the head.

Now, police are looking for the suspect who targeted the boy’s home Tuesday night.  Family members report a dark colored Chevy Cruze drove up to the home on Switzer and fired at the home.

Two people were shot while one had scrapes and bruises. One person is still in the hospital.
