ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – The ninth annual Gateway Dragon Boat Festival returns to Creve Coeur Lake on June 27 and now is the time to sign up your team.
Fox 2 staffers formed a team last year and won, but the big winners in this event are the charities supported by the money raised in this one-of-a-kind event in St. Louis. Proceeds from the boat festival go to Operation Family Help, a Signature Healthcare Foundation initiative to assist families of patients with financial challenges by providing services such as therapy, equipment, or transportation.
John Marshall, a spokesman for Signature Medical Group, visits Fox 2 News in the Morning to discuss this year’s already growing event.
