SKF to build new facility in North County business park, create jobs

BERKELEY, MO (KTVI)- More jobs are coming to St. Louis thanks to a new NorthPark development. Sweden-based SKF plans to build an engineering and manufacturing campus for industrial lubrication systems in the business park beginning this fall. It will be completed in December 2015.

According to the St. Louis Economic Development Partnership, the company will invest $34.2 million, retain 388 jobs, and create 73 new jobs over the next six years.

NorthPark is a 550 acre business park located in north St. Louis County, east of Lambert Airport along I-70. It is also the site of a recent Express Scripts expansion.

SKF has more than 48,000 employees in 130 countries.
