ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – A powerful storm moving out of the plains brought a round of spotty severe weather to the region with beneficial rain.
The Thursday afternoon for the St. Louis region was quiet. However, as we marched into the evening the storm system produced scattered showers and a few strong to severe thunderstorms before swirling eastward.
An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.
Winds will turn to the northwest and colder air will fill in behind the system with lows in the 30s.
