(KTVI) – The Saint Louis University Billikens  are headed to the big dance. The Bills got a #4 seed in  the NCAA tournament and will take on #13 New Mexico State on Thursday.

SLU won the A-10 tournament in Brooklyn on Sunday 62 to 56.  According to a tweet from Deadspin.com,  the Billikens reportedly had to watch the seeding announcement at a Best Buy store in New Jersey because they got stuck in traffic on the way back to the airport.

Both Mizzou and Illinois made the tournament seeded at No. 9 and No. 7.   Mizzou was seeded #9 in the Midwest  They will face the No. 8 seed Colorado State on Thursday.

If Mizzou and SLU make it through the first two rounds of the tournament, they will face each other in the Elite 8.

The Fighting Illini had an up and down season but did make it into the tournament with a No. 7 seed and will face No. 10 seed Colorado in the Eastern Region on Friday.
