ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)– Baggage handlers for Southwest Airlines are among employees taking part in an informational picket at Lambert.
Members of the Transport Workers Union are in contract negotiations with the company and handing out leaflets to inform passengers about their issues with so called outsourcing and cutbacks.
Southwest has proposed outsourcing some of the jobs to contract workers.
The members worry Southwest’s demands would affect customer service.
