St. Charles County Reports First Heat Death

ST. CHARLES, MO (KTVI) -The St. Charles County medical examiner has confirmed the county’s first heat-related death.

The victim was a 64 year old male who was discovered in his mobile home on Saturday, July 7.  The victim reportedly lived alone and had removed his air conditioner. He also reportedly refused to go and stay with relatives.

This is the county’s first heat-related but St. Charles County hospitals have reported 53 heat-related illnesses since June.
