ST. CHARLES, MO (KTVI) -  A wish come true, thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

A 15-year old St. Charles girl, who spent the year fighting a blood disorder, will get her dream vacation in Hawaii this spring. Her family gets to come along too.

Bella Jones also received the royal treatment courtesy of Macy's at West County Center.  A gift card plus donations and a make-over were early Christmas presents for the teen.

"The chemo was a lot harder than I thought. I just never wanted to get out of bed.  I just laid around. It was making me really sick a lot of the time.  It was pretty scary. I`m not gonna lie but I got through it." said Make-A-Wish recipient Bella Jones.

Bella's mother credits her daughter's strength and stubborn streak for her success in battling the immune system disease.  The teen's wish will be one of more than 300 the charity grants each year in Missouri to children with life-threatening illnesses.
