St. Charles water rescue after person drives car into high water

ST. CHARLES, Mo. – The St. Charles Fire Department had to rescue a person who drove their vehicle into a flooded roadway Friday afternoon.

The incident occurred on Cole Boulevard and Elm Street along Cole Creek. The road had taken on high water as a result of flash flooding from the creek.

Firefighters rescued the driver around 5 p.m.
