ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - There will be no Fat Tuesday parade this year in St. Louis to celebrate Mardi Gras. Organizers say attracting participants and spectators on a cold weeknight has always been a challenge.

Instead, the celebration on February 9th will focus on a Mardi Gras party at the Scottrade Center, during the Blues game that night.

The annual Pet Parade and the Grand Parade in Soulard will go on as scheduled.
