St. Louis firefighters battle blaze in south city

ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – Around 8:30 pm St. Louis city firefighters were called to the 3100 block of Arsenal in south St. Louis. Initial reports say the fire is in a three-story building.

Firefighters say  heavy smoke  on the third floors  and second floors.  At this point the cause of the fire remains under investigation. There are no injuries to report .

A spokesperson for the department says the building was vacant at the time of the fire.
