ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – A St. Louis man is behind bars, charged with murder for a crime police say happened in September.

Dana Wallace, 25, is charged with First Degree Murder, Armed Criminal Action, and Abandonment of a Corpse.

Police say they found Darnell Robinson, 24, dead inside of a burned car.   He had a gunshot wound to the head.

St. Louis City Police released surveillance footage of a woman who set fire to a car with Robinson’s dead body inside.

The footage was captured on the night of September 4th at 6:22p.m., in the 1700 block of North 20th Street.

A woman got out of a black SUV with a red gas can in her hand.  Seconds later, a white car was engulfed in flames.

The woman quickly fled the scene, but she couldn’t escape the cameras. She is still at large.
