St. Louis man convicted in 2013 killing of teenage boy

CLAYTON, Mo. (AP) _ A St. Louis man is scheduled to be sentenced March 27 in the drug-related drive-by shooting of a teenager.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch ( ) reports that 31-year-old Jeryl Daniels was convicted last week in St. Louis County Court of first-degree murder and other charges in the 2013 death of 16-year-old Ryan Thurman. Two others, 15 and 16, were also wounded.

Police said Daniels fired 22 shots at the victims.
