ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - The 8th annual radio-thon for the St. Louis Men's Group Against Cancer was held Thursday. The money raised for the non-profit will go to cancer related charities throughout the St. Louis area. They are holding an all day auction and you can win everything from a Cardinals first pitch package to diner with radio personalities. Organizers say they're happy with what they've seen so far.

"The great work that's being done by the great charities that we serve in the St. Louis community. They're all dedicated to research, prevention, or care of cancer victims, patients or people they know battling the disease. For every $100 donation they get four seats for the Cardinals on September 8th at our cancer night at Busch Stadium." said Alan Epstein. "It gets bigger and better every year. We're thankful for all of our sponsors and the people that attend we have a great group of corporate sponsors this year."

The nonprofit has raised over $4 million since it started in 1960. 34 local cancer related charities received more than $275,000 last year.
