St. Louis police investigating deadly assault in west St. Louis

ST. LOUIS – St. Louis police homicide detectives have been called to the 5600 block of Kingsbury in the Debaliviere Place neighborhood.

Police tell Fox 2/News 11 that investigators are looking into an assault that occurred around 4:15 p.m. Saturday afternoon.  The victim of he assault, 58-year-old Bryan Scoggins was discovered in residence suffering from puncture wound to his torso and trauma to his head.  He was pronounced dead at the scene by an EMS crew on the scene.
