ST. LOUIS, MO- Of all the things to worry about on the day of the home opener for the St. Louis Cardinals, security does not appear to have been a big issue leading up to first pitch. Thousands of fans were downtown hours before festivities inside Busch Stadium get underway.

FOX2 talked to St. Louis Metropolitan Police Major Mary Warnecke late Thursday afternoon.
