St. Louis police start new program to help recover stolen bikes

ST .LOUIS (KTVI) – St. Louis city police have started a new program register biked in the city. The program is free St. Louis city residents. The program is in response to recovering and returning 10,000 bikes stolen every year.

Saturday families lined up in front of the St. Louis police department to take part in the Blast Program. It stands for bicycle and scooter theft.  It`s designed to help register bikes then scooters with numbered decals that are put in the police records system. It’s especially important if your bike is stolen and recovered by police.
