St. Louis students to canoe the Mississippi to learn about history

ST. LOUIS, Mo. — Area students will be exploring the Mississippi River by canoe today. It’s part of the Paddle Your Park program.. Led by rangers at the Gateway Arch National Park with Big Muddy Adventures.

More than 150 area middle school students will paddle down the river from the arch today and tomorrow. They’ll learn about the history of river exploration along the way.
