Storms Bring Large Hail To Columbia, Move Into St. Louis

COLUMBIA, MO (KTVI)- As forecasted, rain and thunderstorms began to build around 3:00pm Friday in Missouri and started pushing eastward into Illinois. One area hard hit by storms Friday afternoon was Columbia, MO, where many Mizzou and Georgia fans are already in town preparing for Saturday's big SEC game.

FOX 2's George Sells is in Columbia, MO and he sent in a few cell phone videos of large hail.

A strong cold front is providing the much needed lift to create the stormy weather. Look for much cooler air Saturday with highs in the mid-70°s.
