(KTVI)- Wednesday night's storms swept through the Ferguson and Jennings line leaving significant damage. It happened near where the recent unrest surrounding the shooting death of Michael Brown has taken place.

Wind, rain and lightning left the area without power for several hours. It is no secret that this area has already dealt with a lot.

At 230 p.m. Thursday, Governor Nixon will hold a press conference at the Florissant Valley Community College campus about how to help the economy in Ferguson recover.
