ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- After some strong morning storms, skies over St. Louis cleared during Monday’s midday hours. The sunshine pushed temperatures back into the 80°s. The warm, unstable air is providing the fuel for more thunderstorms Monday night.
Some of the thunderstorms could become severe and may producing large hail, damaging winds, and the possibility of tornadoes.
A Tornado Watch is now in effect for most of the FOX 2 News viewing area until 1:00am. A tornado watch means conditions are favorable for storms capable of forming a tornado to develop.
