Students from Sperreng MS compete in National Science Bowl

WASHINGTON, D.C. (KTVI) – Some very special students from the Lindbergh School Districts Robert H. Sperreng Middle School are in the nation’s capital for the 2014 National Science Bowl. The bowl test students of their knowledge in science and mathematics, in a fast pace question and answer format over the following subjects: biology, chemistry, Earth science, physics, energy and math.

Teams are comprised of four students, an alternate and a teacher who serves as an advisor.

The Robert H. Sperreng Middle School team consisted of: Leanne Dang, Julia Stephens, Aidan Kelley and Achintya Benegal from St. Louis, Missouri.

The competition started on April 24th and goes to the 28th. The event is sponsored annually by the United States Department of Energy.
