STUDY: Coffee can help slow the progression of colon cancer


ST.LOUIS, Mo. – New research shows there could be benefits from drinking a few cups of coffee a day.

According to researchers, coffee can help slow the progression of advanced colon cancer.

The study, which consisted of 12-hundred patients, found those who drank four or more cups of coffee on a daily basis had 36 percent higher odds of surviving the disease.

The findings were published online in the journal, “Jamaoncology”.
