ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Jeffery Williams made his first appearance in St. Louis County court at 9:00am. He is accused of shooting two police officers, who were working the night of a protest in Ferguson.
The judge read the charges and gave the 20-year-old North County man a list of possible private attorneys during the court appearance. He is charged with assault, firing from a vehicle and armed criminal action.
The appearance was brief and the defendant did not make any statements. His next court date is March 31 at 9:00 a.m.
